Garden Chairs
This furniture was design/built for the Turning Point Recovery Center garden project (landscaping set for the coming spring)
proto designs
frame prototype 1, tacked together to check angles, aesthetics, and stability
a few modifications were made to the final design, but this chair was also built, first of 4, the black sheep of the fam
a simple dowel jig made to keep holes evenly spaced and square
all joinery is solid wood, meaning no metal fasteners for a much stronger product
red pigment added to back and seat stain
the tables also function as foot stools and benches
large round dowels make low stress connections
